Careers at APS

Join aSpecialist PowerEngineering Team

APS welcomes experienced engineers, graduates, students and specialists who want to work flexibly in power engineering. Collaboration may be full-time, part-time, hourly-based, project-based, remote or hybrid depending on the role and project needs.

Why APS

A Place to Grow, Contribute, and Lead

APS is designed to work with talented people in a flexible and practical way. Collaboration need not be limited to a traditional full-time role. Where there is a good technical fit, it may be shaped around available hours, remote working, hybrid support, project needs and long-term development.

01

Flexible Working Models

APS can consider full-time, part-time, hourly-based or project-based collaboration. This can suit experienced specialists, engineers with limited availability, students seeking practical exposure, or those who want to use their spare time to generate additional income through specialist engineering work.

02

Remote and Hybrid Options

Many study, design, modelling, documentation and technical review activities can be supported remotely or through a hybrid arrangement. Site attendance may only be needed where testing, commissioning, surveys or client-facing activities require physical presence.

03

Technical Growth

APS works with technically strong engineers and specialists. Graduates, students and developing engineers may gain exposure to real project work, technical discussion, practical engineering judgement, and specialist studies including HVDC, FACTS, grid connection, EMT, EMI, protection, cable thermal rating and substation design.
